Over 36 years of experience
Republic Industrial was founded in May of 2020 by Ben Hollingsworth and Barry Welch, two industry veterans with over 36 years of combined experience. Despite the difficult economic environment of 2020, our company has thrived due to our unrelenting dedication to quality workmanship, tempering Republic Industrial into a business with a rock-solid foundation.
Meet The Founders
Barry Welch
Co-Founder
With over 25 years of experience, Barry Welch started in the industrial sector at a young age. He worked at a Screw Conveyor manufacturing facility in high school, where he sowed the seeds for a long career in the industry. Barry spent over 15 years in the energy sector working in rig welding, air compressor repairs, and more. Barry moved into the Industrial repair industry in 2011, where he has worked until co-founding Republic Industrial in 2020.
Ben Hollingsworth
Co-Founder
Ben retired from the US Army in 2013 after 22 years of service. After leaving the Army, he went on to work with a large construction company where he quickly rose through the ranks and served as a regional equipment manager. Full of greater ambitions, Ben then co-founded Republic Industrial in 2020.
